Â鶹Դ´ launches ‘Good and Outstanding care (GO)’ online
Â鶹Դ´ has launched a major new online resource to support social care providers to prepare for Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspections.
‘Good and Outstanding care (GO)’ online includes brand new content designed to help you meet and exceed CQC expectations. It’s an updated and more interactive version of our earlier guide.
The new online resource focuses on how to be best prepared for CQC inspection, which could happen at any time, and how to ensure your service meets the CQC quality standards and helps you identify any areas you may need to improve.
Our new ‘Inspection toolkit’ brings together best practice recommendations, resources, and practical examples so you can meet or exceed CQC expectations. It includes a range of practical resources from The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE), and others to support help you to deliver high standards of quality care.
You can select content by different types of services to find the latest insight. The toolkit will be regularly updated to align with the CQC Assessment Framework as new changes are introduced later this year.
Our ‘Good and Outstanding care (GO)’ range draws on practical examples from CQC reports and regulated providers themselves, helping you prepare for inspection and improve your service.
The range includes free online guides, practical checklists, and action plan templates to help you focus on achieving and maintaining high standards of care.
We’re also launching two new digital modules to help you achieve and demonstrate Good and Outstanding care standards.
The first module ‘Being prepared for CQC inspection’ looks at a step-by-step approach to preparing for CQC inspection to effectively evidence you’re delivering good or outstanding care.
The second, ‘Improving your CQC rating’ provides insight into practical ways to drive forward improvements after falling below CQC standards. This will be available from March 2022.
