Delivering outstanding care seminar

This one-day online seminar is for services wanting to deliver the highest standards of care and be best placed to be rated Outstanding by the CQC. Attendees will understand what outstanding care looks like and how to prepare your staff team and others to showcase and evidence excellence. The content of this seminar has been updated to align with the new CQC Single Assessment Framework.

 

Delivering outstanding care eLearning

This new one-hour virtual learning module provides an introduction into how to strive beyond Good to deliver Outstanding care. The Outstanding Society

The Outstanding Society is a group of Outstanding rated services who came together to share best practice and support other services to deliver better outcomes for people. Their guidance and advice supports all services, regardless of rating.

Â鶹ԭ´´ continues to support the goals and ambitions of The Outstanding Society who deliver monthly webinars open to all providers, as well as publishing practical ways to deliver outstanding care.

Find out what Outstanding rated services do on a day-to-day basis to ensure that they deliver high-quality, person-centred care, and support.

Our short films can help you to understand what Outstanding care looks like and identify some of the changes that you could make in your service to achieve this rating.

Whilst these were filmed before the introduction of the CQC Single Assessment Framework, the examples of best practice and demonstrated in the films closely aligns with what the CQC deem important. 

 

City Care Partnership

This Outstanding rated service supports people with learning disabilities. This film focuses on their activity provision as an outstanding example of a dedicated care team meeting people’s needs.

Compare your performance to others

The Adult Social Care Workforce Data Set (ASC-WDS) is used by over 20,000 social care providers, including 66% of ‘Outstanding’ rated providers. 

The service allows you to measure workforce metrics such as turnover rates, staff sickness days, percentage of staff with relevant qualifications and pay rates. You can analyse the general averages across your area or compare with ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ providers.
